So, I played this symphony tonight, and I have to say I keep realizing... holy shit is it beautiful.

My personal favourite section is between 18:53 - 20:15, the ending to I: Adagio. They're playing it a bit slower than they should, but it's still heartwrenching. The solemn fanfare, trombones, trumpets and french horns. The slow, playful addition of flutes and clarinets adding a frail vulnerability, and the strings providing a slow, steady background beat, like teardrops impacting on the sheets as he writes. Moves me to tears almost every time.

A version with a more appropriate tempo, 18:17 to end.

I do recommend listening to the whole symphony though.
